3rd Place Women's - Hyndman Peak Suffer Fest!
The Hyndman Peak Suffer Fest in Sun Valley, Idaho could easily be called the toughest 20k race in the world. With over 5,000 feet of elevation gain through Idaho's Pioneer Mountains reaching the top of Hyndman Peak at 12,009 feet. Hyndman Peak is one of the nine peaks in Idaho that are over 12,000 feet. The climb includes everything from mountain lakes and streams to winding trails through meadows of wildflowers and ends with a 1,500 vertical scramble (suffer) through boulders and shale to the top of the mountain. In her first Hyndman Suffer Fest, Jennifer Ludington reached the summit in 2:16, placing third place for women.
